Foyer is getting freshened up and starting to look amazing!
#KellerStation #TheKimGroupFormer Illinois Department of Transportation Headquarters building from 1935 - 1996 is comprised of the original building built in 1935 and an addition to the building which is unknown when it was constructed (but if we find out, we will update :)). The building has a beautiful art deco foyer area which leads upstairs to some amazing glass walls to continue the art deco style. The first floor has a combination between offices fitout for office and field staff. When they say "they don't build them like that any more" - this statement is never more true than in this building. The floors, ceilings and some walls are concrete or masonry. It's built like a tank. It is a beautiful building that The Kim Group is proud to be able to partner with Peoria Park District to help restore and preserve! The Kim Group thanks the Peoria Park District, their staff and board for the countless hours to make this project happen - thank you! Stay tune to The Kim Group's Facebook page and particularly this album for updates! ... See MoreSee Less
